Good bag for getting to and from mountain but NOT for airline travel
By R. S. Pandis
Folks, this is a decent, spacious sturdy bag. Because it is so spacious however, it is terrible as a carry on bag for airlines. I flew to Canda (Banff) for a trip last week and I could not get it into the over head on the second flight and it had to be placed underneath the aircraft. I was hoping to have a bag to use as a carry on so I can keep my boots and helmet with me and reduce the weight and bulk of my checked bag. On the trip home I opted to not even out my boots in it and loaded it up with clothes and such so I could pack my boots in my checked bag. Even still, I could barley cram it in the overhead bin(s). It is not carry on air travel friendly but fine for checked bag or if you live in ski country and need a way to organize your kit for the mountain.
