Good rack, easy to assemble, is not very wide
By Queequeg
Great rack, just not very wide if you need to carry more than two boards. It is hard to tell from the picture but this rack is wide enough for only one snowboard, you can fit two, by placing them board to board so the bindings of one face down toward the cars roof and the bindings of the other are facing the sky.

Good rack, but...
By av8r
I found the ski rack to be well constructed. However, holding 4 sets of the newer wider shaped skies would be difficult. (The advertisement said holds 4 sets of skies) It would hold 3 easy. The company could have made it a little longer. I was disappointed with all the little separate pieces that held the rack to the cross bars. There is one plastic spacer for each bolt and they could have been molded to the top bracket part. The "captive" nuts in the bottom bracket fell out. Therefore there are several parts to keep up with and not drop/loose during mounting. So if you buy this item keep up with all the parts. But, after I got it mounted to the CR-V and put our 2 pairs of skies on, it looked pretty good and I was ready to go to Colorado to ski. Too bad it was April and I live 700 miles away.

just the same as the non-genuine one

I would go the Thule. This is a pain to install as you have to use a hex key. The newer ones have a plastic strap that seems to just strap on. Much better than having to get the hex key and fiddle around tightig all the bolts and potentiall dropping it and scratching up your roof.
