great lenses!

These Oakley A frame replacement lenses popped in very easily to the existing goggles. They look fabulous and when the sun is shining off the slopes, they cut the glare perfectly. I would definitely recommend these replacement lenses to anyone who is looking for them! Again, easy to use, and looks great!

Iridium coating scratches easily

My fire iridium lens lasted 2 days on the slopes before it was scratched. Problem with a coated lens is once the coating is scratched, the protection is gone and you're left with clear plastic and a beam of bright sunlight light blasting through. These are supposedly for skiing but are far too delicate. Fine if you're sponsored and receive a new pair for each race, or if you don't ski hard or get bumped by someone's skis when stepping off the funitel. The standard colored plastic lenses that do not rely on a fragile coating are better for sport and can handle a scratch (or two). Until they can come up with a tougher coating, I'll stick with standard lenses. My oakley radar photochromic cycling glasses are awesome and I've probably dropped them more than once off of my helmet. Still like new.

Not much to say about Oakley besides its great.

I have worn Oakley sunglasses for almost 25 years and for several good reasons. Quality, style, performance, value, safety... the list goes on. These fit my existing frames perfect (as they should). They are great in bright sunlight but also worked well enough through the clouds in Whistler as they are not to bright. Most importantly, no one can see my eyes behind this lens! :)

I only got the chance to use these 3-4 days this past winter, but as long as I treat them right and don't faceplant on them, they will give me years of service. Just make sure they are cleaned properly (just the Oakley bag) and they will give many years of service.
