Strong Product w/small flaw

I have had a number of bluetooth products for my helmet and all have failed ultimately. I set this up last weekend. It was a breeze to install (my helmet Smith Variant) had a zipper and a place to put the headphones. The sound is great and the functionality is the best I have experienced. I used the phone and also streamed music from my iPhone. Both worked flawlessly. The voice control to answer phone calls is terrific. My only complaint is its almost impossible to use the controller with gloves on! Having to hold two tiny buttons down at the same time to activate voice command or simply starting and stopping music proved virtually impossible with gloves on!! On a freezing cold day, on a chairlift having to take your hands out or your gloves is annoying. Bigger buttons that are more sensitive would make this product a clear 5 out of 5.

Cool concept but still needs improving

About me: I use this for snowboarding, and originally bought it for the wireless feature and helmet to helmet communication.

Things I like:
(1) It's great not having to worry about earbuds and cords
(2) Audio sounds clear
(3) Call quality is fantastic. I was on a windy chairlift and went down the mountain at full speed, and my phone call was crystal clear. The other person said they couldn't even tell I was outside.
(4) Love the feature of voice pickup when receiving a phone call. Super easy to pick up the phone just by saying "hello"

Things that need to be improved:
(1) The bluetooth connection goes in and out while listening to music. Not all the time, but when it does happen it is a bit annoying.
(2) We have 2 Uclear communicators and were excited to try out the intercom "walkie talkie" feature. However, the connection is not clear. You hear static, white noise, and the communication cuts out if you're too far away. We were barely 10 feet away from each other and the communication was terrible. It's much better to talk on the phone, so a wasted feature that doesn't work all that well.
(3) It's VERY hard to push the buttons, especially with gloves on. Because there are only 3 buttons, many of the commands require pushing 2 different buttons down at the same time, and this is really difficult to do when you have gloves on and the remote is on the side of your helmet. After trying several times, it becomes too frustrating so you don't even use the features that require the use of pushing two buttons at the same time anymore. They should upgrade the remote features to make it more user friendly.
(4) The design of the strap add-ons to mount the remote are WAY too bulky, and make the remote stick way out and look gaudy on the helmet. I actually took it upon myself to sew in the mount directly to my earpads on the helmet and it looks much better, but design-wise from U-clear needs to be improved upon for aesthetic purposes.

Had I known the remote features would be not so user friendly, I would have held off on this purchase and waited for the next version to come out.

Enjoy the product but not perfect

Was very easy to set up. I enjoy the fact that it's wireless but forget those buttons, hard to press and that's without gloves on. I could only mount it on the left side which is a bit annoying. Good news is that with iPhone 4S you get to use Siri with this, of course you can pick up calls by saying PICK UP or something else that I forgot. The sound from the speaker is decent but def. not the best I have heard for this type of product. I am glad I bought it but it should be better. If you can answer a call by saying pick up you should be able to say "next song" or "pause" etc.
