comfortable

After hearing of Natasha Richardson's passing after hitting her head while skiing, I decided to get a helmet.
I was having trouble finding one that was comfortable. I wear a small helmet. The Smith was a good fit, the padding on the inside is nice and the front lines up perfectly with my Smith googles. I've worn it once this season and I'm glad I made the purchase.
I did notice it's harder to hear because there's padding over your ears, but I got used to it.

Love this helmet

This helmet converted me from die-hard hat fan to a helmet lover. It keeps my head toasty warm on cold nights. It keeps me dry when I'm skiing in the sleet and rain. It vents well when I'm working up a sweat on nice days. It stands keeps my ears warm when the wind is howling.

I had another helmet before this but it was heavy and and it never fit quite right. The Smith Intrigue is lightweight and was easy to adjust so that it fits perfectly.

I got the drop in audio system and it is perfect for listening to music on the lift. The audio quality isn't great but I don't need audiophile quality for my ski music.

unsure how to review

as far as a review goes, i always have great service from amazon. within 3 days of ordering, the helmet was in my hands! but i bought it for my daughter who has taken up snowboarding. it looked nice on her, fit her well. seemed like it was made well and was a decent price, as helmets go. and since she's had it, she has used it several times and has hd no complaints about it - it protects her head like it's supposed to. so, no other comments i can think of. just keep up the great response time in getting ordered items to the customer.
