sleek and very solid

These are sleek and very solid bars. I really wanted to keep them but because they're so low it prevents my sunroof from opening. I did the Yakima "fit my car" selector and it gave these as one of the options. It never said it would impact my sunroof though. I'm returning them and getting the whispbars with higher clearance.

Well designed and easy to install

The Whispbar rail system is beautifully designed and completely self contained. It is a perfect fit for the factory side rails on my 2011 Subaru Forester. Installation took less than 25 minutes and was easy to do. The rails look great, and provide a solid foundation for my Yakima bike and kayak racks. I have no reservations about recommending this product. I also strongly recommend potential buyers use the simple step-by-step fit guide on the Yakima website (other sites link to this) to get the correct rails for their vehicles.

Very easy to install

Roof rack arrived in excellent condition and after a quick review of the instructions, finding the allen key within one of the rails, was installed in my VW 2010 Jetta/Golf(in Canada) in less than 20 minutes.
Took the car for a test drive and the roof rack lives up to its branding as it was silent whilst driving at speed.
